Weald has been providing IT support to Knill James Chartered Accountants, based in Lewes, for more than 15 years.
We won Knill James business back in around 2002, from an initial request to meet during which we listened to the problems KJ were having, and being able to not only suggest a solution, but in fact carry out a fix at the end of the meeting. This bears testament to Weald’s view of sending people who actually know how to do the job to initial sales meetings! Having gained their confidence, we provided add on support where required for the internal member of staff responsible for IT support during his final months before retirement.
Weald provided and continues to provide complete outsourced IT support which during later years has become more and more remote due to the introduction of Citrix thin client, so that upgrade work is handled out of hours without causing any disruption to Knill James business.
We have upgraded and continue to upgrade and support the internal practice management and accounting products, to include CCH, Digita, Sage and Star to name a few.
* It is important to note that Weald upgrades these products during weekends and evenings to avoid disruption and cost to the firm.
We helped move the firm to new premises around 4 years ago and were a key part of the planning of a smooth move of IT and comms to the new building.
