2nd line Hybrid IT Technician for Helpdesk and on-site Engineer work
A client centric position that will divide time between on-site engineering or outsourced roles as well as working on Helpdesk escalations. When not on-site, you may work from home or from Weald’s offices subject to the practicalities of travel. Some out of hours work will be required from time to time, for which overtime is paid at 1.5 or 2x time.
You will ideally live between Worthing and Arundel to cover Weald’s clients across the coastal area between Brighton and Southampton.
An experienced engineer with 2 years in the field and a track record that demonstrates abilities in all standard small to medium business systems – typically based around Windows Server 2016 and Office 365. Any experience of migration work will be a distinct advantage.
Smart appearance, excellent written and verbal communication skills, self-motivated, task focused, disciplined, good driver with a clean licence.
Ideally, a strong CV showing that good grades have been attained to A-Level standard and possibly some technical qualifications beyond.
IQ and Personality testing
In order to ensure that any qualifications shown are in line with Weald’s requirements, we will carry out IQ & Personality testing during the interview process – do not apply if you do not want to take part in these tests.
£ 25 to 30k + overtime – neg on experience / auto-enrolment pension / 20 days holiday +1 per year to a max of 25
